Clerk of the Courts Gail Wadsworth, elected to the Clerk’s office in November 2000, grew up in Flagler County, FL and is an eighth generation Floridian. She is a Florida State Supreme Court certified Clerk of the Circuit Court and maintains certification through continuing education, seminars, and training. Gail also represents the Clerks of Florida as the State Coordinator of the Nat'l Assoc. of Court Clerks, Recorders & Election Officials (NACRC). |

Finance
Implemented GASB 34 (Governmental Accounting Standards Board), the ruling calling for Single Audit Financial Statements;
Prepared and published Clerk and Flagler County’s Financial Statements which gained "Unqualified Opinions" for the past nine years. An "Unqualified Opinion" means a clean bill of health;
Presented to the BOCC, which approved an Investment Policy for Flagler County;
Presented to the BOCC, which also approved a Reserve Policy for Flagler County;
Initiated Credit Card acceptance both on line and in office
